ABOUT PROJECT MOST

Located in East Hampton, NY, Project MOST is an after school and summer learning program for families who want to provide their children with life enriching activities of all kinds. Project MOST believes that all children need access to the highest quality innovative programming possible -- no matter the income level of families. 

PROJECT MOST IS A 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION THAT:

  • Provides after school and summer learning programs for 300 local children at Springs School (K-8) and at John Marshall Elementary School in East Hampton (K-5). 65% of our children come from families in which English is a second language.

  • Increases learning time by 35% and improves student performance in the areas of math, science, technology, engineering, the arts and language arts.

  • Supports the local working families of East Hampton who are the backbone of this economy.

  • Is affordable. We work on a sliding scale, so that no child is left out of our program due to finances.

  • Educates children with a variety of learning styles and challenges, and from a variety of family backgrounds.

  • Creates an inclusive atmosphere that fosters tolerance, socialization, and harmony. Project MOST is truly the melting pot of East Hampton.

 


 

beginning

2000

Project MOST started under the umbrella of East Hampton Day Care as an after school program at John Marshall Elementary School (K-4) Serving 100 Children and quickly grew to 150 annually.

501 (c)3

2005

Project MOST received it’s 501(c)3 status.

Springs Elementary

2007

Project MOST opened a 2nd site at the Springs Elementary School (K-3) -60 Students. This quickly grew to 180 students (K-8.)

Greenhouse

2009

Project MOST added a Greenhouse and Garden program.

iGrow

2010

Started the iGROW Summer Learning Program – one month, ½ day program with 50 children and now enrolls 80-100 and offers a full day for the month of July.

Growth

Currently

150 Children are enrolled at John Marshall and 180 children are enrolled at Springs school. To date, Project MOST has served over 6,000 children and their families since we began our program.
